Order FAQ's
Placing Orders
Once you place your order you receive an order confirmation via e-mail, your order will then be processed and shipped ASAP. Items noted with "Free Shipping" will be sent ground or similar service at Schmid Moto Co. discretion. Items not including Free Shipping will be sourced and shipped at the lowest price available, and charged accordingly.
Defective, Damaged or Missing items
Terms and Conditions for incorrect, damaged, or missing item(s) must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. All damaged items must be returned with all of the original packaging instructions and hardware. Replacement items will not be shipped out prior to receipt and inspection of any product returned for a warranty claim. We have no control over missing parts or hardware on other manufactures products. All missing parts will be sent from the manufacture direct to the consumer. Items damaged in transit, or found to be defective would qualify for a return/replacement of the same product only. Refunds are only available if a replacement part is not available at the time. There will be a 20% restocking fee for all non-defective returns. Please note, the original shipping charge will be deducted even if free shipping applied. No credit will be issued for labor or any other cost incurred in the installation of a product. Returns require an RMA# (Return Manufacturer Authorization Number). Incoming shipments without an RMA# attached will be refused! Electrical parts are NON-RETURNABLE. If warranty applies, most electrical items are warranted manufacture direct. Positively no returns after 20 days.
Processing Time
Under our Terms and Conditions you can expect your order to be processed and completed within approximately 24 hours unless stated otherwise in your e-mailed confirmation. This is provided that the items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. Schmid Moto Co. does not guarantee same day-shipping. Please note orders are not processed after normal business hours, weekends or holidays, it will always fall to the next business day. Please check your email within 24 hours of your order to confirmation.
Canceling Orders
Terms and Conditions for canceling an order. The customer may request than an order be canceled provided the order has not already been processed and/or shipped. Simply call or email us at support@schmidmoto.com during our hours of operation to request an order be canceled. Please note, once an order has been processed there's only a short window of 10 to 15 minutes afterward before the order is in the shipping system. Orders already in the shipping system cannot be cancelled. Please note any shipping costs incurred by Schmid Moto Co. are non refundable. Shipped and or Special Order items cannot be canceled. See returns.
Restocking Fee
Terms and Conditions a 20% restocking fee will be applied to all non-detective returns for refund. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. No refunds or exchanges after 20 days.
